LJHS 2009 Tiger board

LJHS 2009 Tiger board, originally uploaded by Bound Staff Press.

This year’s Tiger board looks awesome. We worked from a stencil for the black stripes, but the orange swirls and gold lines were all painted by hand. My junior students did a wonderful job of detailing, and have spent the last couple of weeks bragging about how their tiger will be better than any previous tiger, or future tiger that will grace the parking lot. I tend to agree with them that we will not likely attempt such an undertaking for senior tiger board in the future. This is met with sighs and occasional cursing from the underclassmen. There are more shots of the finished project on my flickr page
